Advanced Pickup Mixer
[Patent pending]

The Advanced Pickup Mixer transposes the guitar controls - pickup position selectors, volume knob, tone knob, and electronics - into an effects pedal. This allows you to:

  • Mix the pickup configurations of your guitar, with an infinite range of continuous possibilities between each position.

  • Instantly save and recall the pickup configuration, synchronized with your sound (clean, distortion, crunch...), through the pedal's presets and footswitches or via MIDI.

  • Achieve true stereo output from your guitar for a wide sound during live performances (with two amps) or in recordings. You no longer need to double your takes or use delay and reverb effects to simulate stereo from a mono source.

UFOnium

A tribute to the Theremin, the first electronic musical instrument invented in 1920 by Russian Leon Theremin, and to the 1950s sci-fi films that popularized it, the UFOnium is a musical instrument shaped like a flying saucer. It lights up the stage with a controllable light beam via a motorized diaphragm, produces smoke, and its antennas are used to control a Theremin (Moog Etherwave). The distance between the right hand and an antenna emerging from the main opening of the saucer controls the pitch of the notes and the width of the beam, while the vertical distance of the left hand to the saucer's edges adjusts the volume and light intensity.

EtheReal Drum
[Patent pending]

This invisible electronic drum kit allows playing in the air while maintaining the realism and feel of a real drum set:

  • Minimal footprint: a small, discreet box that can be mounted on the ceiling or a telescopic stand.

  • Authentic Rebound: the natural bounce of the drumsticks on invisible drumheads and cymbals is felt thanks to ultra-resistant and nearly invisible threads, connecting the drumstick tips to the module, which controls the height of the drum element and the type of rebound.

  • Low-latency audio output: designed to connect to a sound system or be used with headphones, the system includes acoustic and electronic drum kits with high-quality and instantaneous sound reproduction.

  • Enhanced immersive realism: with a sensor attached to the headset, head orientation is detected, enabling 3D sound spatialization using HRTF (Head-Related Transfer Function) to recreate fixed sound sources in space.

  • MIDI connectivity: compatible with any expander or computer, allowing the use of VSTi and expanding creative possibilities

BeatSync

BeatSync is real-time software for analyzing a drummer's rhythmic performance and tracking tempo, allowing to :

  • Automatically synchronize your machines and effects with the drummer's performance, freeing them from the metronome in their earpiece (modulation effects, delays, effect changes, DMX lights, etc.).

  • Synchronize audio tracks in real-time with the drummer using a real-time time-stretching algorithm.

  • Monitor your tempo and work on your regularity.

  • Analyze your groove and playing precision.

BeatSync can run on the SmartBrain, providing you with an all-in-one solution to synchronize your machines live via its MIDI, CV outputs (for the Tap/Tempo inputs of your pedals), and DMX.

SmartVinyl
[Patent pending]

SmartVinyl reinvents the art of scratching by using a time-coded vinyl instead of a traditional vinyl and a keyboard instead of a crossfader.

  • This time-coded vinyl allows you to control the playback position of digital sounds stored on a computer or recorded live. You can play sounds at different speeds, reverse them, scratch, loop, and more.

  • A time-stretching algorithm (optional) decouples the playback speed from the pitch. This allows real-time manipulation of the sound progression: play at different speeds, reverse, scratch, or freeze the sound without altering its pitch.

  • A 49-key keyboard, combined with a pitch-shifting algorithm, replaces the crossfader. The scratch artist can select the sample's note on the keyboard, independently of the vinyl's speed, or harmonize the sample by playing chords.

  • For live-recorded sounds, SmartVinyl offers the ability to create variable delay lines, harmonizations, loops, freeze effects, and rewinds. This enables the sound to be sculpted in real-time, bringing an unprecedented level of creativity to live performances.

Cloning Machine
[Patent pending]

The Cloning Machine is a reinterpretation of the "looper" pedals used by musicians to record musical phrases in real-time and replay them in loops, allowing for multiple sound layers to create live compositions. Our version goes beyond just recording and looping sound: it also captures the artist's performance using a camera, then cuts out and projects the video loops onto a translucent tulle. The loops are not only auditory but also visual, creating "ghosts" or 3D holographic clones of the musician on stage. This helps the audience better understand the different sound layers and fully grasp the 100% live nature of the music being produced.

When combined with SmartVinyl, it will be possible to slow down, speed up, reverse, scratch, and harmonize these audio-video loops.
